The words are still rushing through my head
It felt like I knew you for a lifetime
But all I found is that you lied

Now I find myself betrayed again
No more energy left to pretend
You told me you loved me
But how can this be?

You never had any respect for me
You just used me when you pleased
You tore my emotions apart
And left me with a bleeding heart

I really thought you were a true friend
But it was always about you in the end
I found out that you don't seem to care
These are feelings that I just can't bare

Now I find myself betrayed again
No more energy left to pretend
You told me you loved me
But how can this be?

You told me everything about you
But everything you said was never true
I should have trusted my instincts
And left you before this could all sink in

I still can't figure this out in my mind
Why did you have to do this to me?
Now I can't even look into your eyes
I wish that you would just leave

Now I find myself betrayed again
No more energy left to pretend
You told me you loved me
But how can this be?

Cause I try and push you away
And make myself clean
To soothe all of the pain
And forget that you hurt me [comments] => 4 [counter] => 218 [topic] => 6 [informant] => Tobe [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
