and no one's going to change that now,
But it seems that everytime I look
there's some humble girl whispering "wow."
"Nothing is going to distract me"
that is how my mind was set,
But I looked around for someone
....and then our eyes met.

I began to talk to her
and we became new friends,
It seemed like we were a couple
but there were no beginnings or ends.
Sure, we flirted a little
but then, I was caught in the "net,"
I never thought it would happen
....and then our eyes met.

I now want to ask her out
but thats a friendship risk,
I don't want to hurt her
but I want to let her know I exist.
We say "I love you" in notes
but I can make a bet,
That I don't plan on saying it aloud
....and then our eyes met.

Sorry for it being so long....I am a (soon to be famous) poet and
musician, and I plan on playing the music and letting someone else
sing it. Well, Gotta Fly, Ja Ne.

i've read and wrote plenty longer, don't worry about it. as for the write, it's beautiful imagery of finding into the heart of someone else... absolutely lovely. kudos! ;0)

OOPS! I sent that poem to a Yahoo Group and wanted them to translate it into Japanese....that last paragraph wasn't supposed to be on there....sorry
