As I stand high above the world
I see the cities where all the people do horde
I don’t know why they do
So I guess that it will remain a mystery to me and you
For those of you who find this confusing
I will explain and this thought I will be defusing

The world is so large there is so much space
But you all stay in one area making it a waste
The beauty of nature is so grand
But you see it as cities to be planed
The animals that are here in the fall
You see as trophies on the wall
All the rivers and lakes that are so remote
You see a place to take your boat.

All this is well and good
But take as many precautions that you should
Nature is not frail but rare
So of it all please do take care
For if it is wasted and gone
Then for its beauty we will forever long.

Just my thoughts.

As I stand high above the world

I quite agree. It's a wonder cities even exist, right?

... though I have seen you hug a tree on at least one occasion. Of course, so have I...

ME TOO!!! You ARE a tree hugger, I testify to it! And then you kissed it.
A good poem raising interesting thoughts on "Why am I here" (As opposed to not in the woods.)
