From the sky
Lands on many places
Before it melts
It sinks into it and stays
Like a bad memory from the past
Stuck in your heart because they melted you away
You feel like a million sun rays are shining on you
And you want so badly to feel cold
Looking up at the sky
Clouds start to cover the bright sunny sky
And rain starts pouring down
When one drop hits your face
You smile
Because your heart is cleansed by something simple

Nicely done, Amy! I like the appreciation for the simple things this poem expresses, and the longing for it as a respite of our complicated selves.
