The white rose
Dripping in water
Held by those above

The black rose
Soaked in blood
Is what you hold

The red rose
Dripping in tears
Held by your beloved

The thorns adorn
Your head from what you said

The thorns
Glisten in the mourn
With your heart torn
And hatred born

I hold the black rose
That you've left behind
Death is what you chose
And the red rose dies

But the white rose is given life [comments] => 6 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 25 [informant] => essentially9 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

The rose has many faces....many meanings.
You've touched on them all here I think.
Very well done
Roses( color of your choice)
