Stop before you slice your skin

Shattered hopes and desperate cries.

Stay and send joy, hope and love
Then you shall be judged by the forces above
Raise my child stand up and fight

Running away from your distaste
Trapped in a world of blinding hate
Running my child won't take you far
You'll never heal your wounded scar.

great poem! I think this will inspire some people, and I agree with you, suicide is selfish. I posted a song called selfish suicide and a few people got mad at me but anyway I think you did wonderful with this... It's amazing actually, I'm practically speechless but don't ever give up your talent, because you have a lot of it!

good poem. this has the possibility to inspire those who are suicidal, but this seems to talk down to your intended audience. also this really doesnt tell many people anything new. i myself have heard it many times myself.

this is a good poem....but i have been suicidal before and i dont really think this would inspire not to do it....i amy be selfish but so is everyone else on this earth in one way or another so by telling me im selfish it doesnt really affect me.....but mayb thats just me....but u do hasve talent and this is a great write...keep up the great work

i think you could use a different title ... when speaking of death, approaching "the light" is usually the end. your title is sort of hypocritical
