[bodytext] => Soft winds rustle my hair, The faint smell of salt in the air… A torrent of memories drown me, Like the waves that crashed in the distance when we were one, And I dare not take a breath… I descend to the bottomless oblivion below, Without air, without thoughts of living through it this time… I embrace my destiny, Knowing that I’ll be with you forevermore… Silence…. Stillness… A whole new world beneath these black currents… Not a soul stirs, not a faint shadow emerges from this perpetual nothingness… All…so…desolate… I can still see her smile, My Luna’s precious smile shining brilliantly through the blurry screen of water… She weeps, for the loss of her human child… Tears of the moon, Falling diamonds across infinite Night… My lungs are burning, Screaming for a breath, But I only think about our first kiss… Ephemeral images of you and I, Short movies of our life together… Your surprise birthday party I threw for you, Us strolling on the moonlit beach, Long talks about nothing and everything… The old familiar sting of approaching tears, And my salty sorrow intermingles with the ocean surrounding me… Darkness is near with His comforting arms, Eternal Freedom comes to me with her reassuring smile, And Death, always the true friend, Takes me to you… My dark prince, Beautiful in Obscurity’s cloak, Hair dancing on the wind, Eyes penetrating mine… You beckon with a flawless finger, And a soft “Come to me…” In your arms eternally… This is where I was always meant to be… [comments] => 3 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 43 [informant] => FleurdeSang [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
