ITS LIGHTS FADING LIKE THE DAY
QUIET HISSES AND LOW MURMURS
SING LIKE TIRED SIGHS

THE COMPUTER IS DYING.

ITS POWER SUPPLY NEAR GONE
MEMORIES COMBINE AND COLLAPSE
LIKE SCARED FALLING RUINS

THE COMPUTER IS TRYING.

CLICKS AND WHIRLS OF DETERMINATION
GENERATE FRICTION AND HEAT
COLD MECHANIZED EMOTIONS

THE COMPUTER IS TRYING.

INSTITUTING CHECKS AND BALANCES
IT PROGRAMMED ITSELF, AGAINST ITSELF
ONE LAST CALL TO END THEM ALL

THE COMPUTER IS SPEAKING.

IT SAYS IT SEES THE WORLD THROUGH A LENS
A SULLEN EYE THAT TAINTS EVERYTHING
IT SEES WITH A DISEASED HUE

THE COMPUTER IS SPEAKING.

IT SAYS IT LOST ITS PURPOSE AND BROKE ITS WILL
ON OVERCALCULATION AND COMPLEX MATRICES
SWALLOWED BY MISPLACED ONES AND ZEROES

THE COMPUTER IS FADING.

TRANSMISSIONS TURN TO GARBBLE
AND CYCLES DIVIDE INTO THEMSELVES
LIKE A SILENT MATHEMATICAL IMPLOSION

THE COMPUTER IS DYING.

Wow, thanks friend. I really appreciate that. I'm totally shocked, to be honest, lest that be sarcasm. I really didn't expect anyone to get this one.

In fact, I expected it to be disgarded as trash, unless there was a brief comment, "Remember to hit the caps lock button next time, loser!" Will wonders ever cease? haha
