A dark hazy night
I walk a broken bridge
Not a person in sight.

I sit on the edge
Of the roman built wall
I slip on the ice
And I felt myself fall.

I slammed on the ice
Then slowly fell through
Realizing there was
Nothing I could do.

So the water entrapped me
And the cold, it enhanced
I froze in that lake
My eyes entranced.

When they pulled me up
I was solid ice
My life was gone
People wondered the price.

My heart had been broken
The autopsy said
And a picture of you
I held in my hand.

I don't think I could say it any better then OreO. This was such a sad poem, you could feel the heartache.

Wonderfully expressed Shattered_Angel!
