as you ran away with a rabid bark.
As the eye-liner bled;
there was nothing else to be said.

The morbid sound of a broken heart we could hear;
as the taste of sweet misery creeped near.
You left without a single word;
and no silent sound to be heard.

The happiness drained from me there;
but my heart still loves you, I swear.
My mind tells me to hide;
but that's not what I really want inside.

As I try to move on with what's left;
I'll still whisper, "I love you" with my last breath.
The decayed sadness, with a soundless sigh,
will forever leave me with a tranquilizer high.

You left me alone in the dark;
