Array ( [sid] => 82660 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Blessing of Sir Frost [time] => 2005-02-02 16:00:37 [hometext] => Jack Frost brings and takes the cold. The Devil is red and he burns you. [bodytext] => It's cold, but not freezing..the warm can be seen and is enjoying the teasing.

My eyelids seem to be craving..
the blessing of Sir Frost,
lick the ice from the paving,
to feel at any cost.
Take ahold of both pieces..
weld, freeze both together..
so that vision may cease,
my eyes see again never.
.

Poor blind children, without knowledge they play,
near by is Satan, to take them away.

To take their innocents straight from their mouths..
like you could candy, from a baby..
To corrupt their stable states of mind,
converting calm to frenzy.

Such candy was stolen from my broken fingers..
ice was my heart, then he turned it to cinders.
I tried to keep hold of my sweet...
with a grip as hard as solid concrete
But the Devil is strong and my bones are brittle,
the strength needed to break every bone was so little.

An innocent fool no more was me..
a rendered soul, sure soon to be.
and so the rot did not take it's time..
to peel and pierce this cold heart of mine.
Within my flesh..it devoured parts whole,
re-shaped, re-named large parts of my soul.
I watched my weak soul try it's hardest..
..all was lost..it was no match for the darkness.

Lying became my tongue, and Liar became my name.
Hate the songs i sung with vice around the frame.

Blind was now my way of seeing..
Silent...the way of being.

Smoke was to fill my lungs..
as my eyes strayed to the demon tongues
My stomach lining made a good friend,
Poison swore to be true till the end.

Good things come to those who wait...
and bad to those who moan and hate.
Also to those who've waited too long,
and who's wills to live are far from strong.

I would say to you now...that..I hope tomorrow..
I do not wake...
And I choke in my sleep on this deleterious hate.
But I'm afraid it's fashion..these days, to bleed.
I'd be just another adolescent..unbelieved.

I'd die for you all, if God..loves self would just give me the chance,
I'd slave deep in hell,
and never give happiness another glance.
If God..loves self,
wished it that way,
Forever in Hell I would burn..
I would pay.

If God..loves self...will give me what i deserve..
He should slit every organ and melt every curve
He should let me boil whilst those I hate stand by
so they can watch me, laugh, chant as I die....

Lying became my tongue, and Liar became my name.
Hate the songs i sung with vice around the frame.
Death became my wish..and now im drowning deep in shame.
Im bleeding from the outside in and its only me to blame.

I like how you skip from topic to topic. It creates a certain chao's. This kind of Chao's can only be true.

Something turned you into something you hated
Cant tell exactly what but you feel for all the trouble you caused and all the pain you made you should be made to suffer in hell for it.
Adolescence is something we all have to tackle once in a while, some take one path other take another, whichever path you chose you know it was wrong.

'An innocent fool no more was me..
a rendered soul, sure soon to be.
and so the rot did not take it's time..

That section stood out to me most, so deep is this piece i am truely humbled to have know the artist that wrote such brilliance.

For me this piece signals how i feel about myself alot of the time, i did not like what i became and i never will.

I also get the feeling that you did something that helped you feel that way, something you didnt want to do but it turned you into who you were.

As i said before this is a very deep very emotional piece something alot of us just cant seem to come close to, maybe its because were to proud or maybe its because were to afriad whatever the reason i know it makes one a better person for writing it down like this

Im extremely impressed, this is nothing more than a special piece that derserved a comment accrodingly

Gutted with a sword, blown up with a nuclear bomb, ripped apart by rabbid wolves and raped by million demonesses

brilliant! could see much of other poems in here and loved the way you brought it all together.

my favorite bit was

"But I'm afraid it's fashion..these days, to bleed.
I'd be just another adolescent..unbelieved."

so observant and unfortunately quite true sometimes.

i like this a lot, especially last stanza too! x x x
