Cast aside and lost, children faintly thought of
The schools playground frosted over
An echo of happiness bounces off her one celled mind

Deep set eyes carrying the weight of a thousand men
Pools of deep blue leaking the truth
Today she is only 17, as tomorrow she grows to a bitter 80
Irises weakly arouse the hollow of her nose

Grabbing out the faces that cried, twisted smiles
Babies round cheeked, pudgy hypnotic movements
Dissolving through the air ducts, discharging
Across the cobblestone court

Painstaking madness, 30 minute sitcom life
Across the cobblestone court
Electric panic carrying images along the street
Swirling in a dance of sorrow

This is a very touching poem. Life for the ones who have this horrible disease is most agonizing for the families. It is most difficult to watch your loved ones or anyone just fade away into this state of mind.

THANKS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS I WROTE THAT POEM AT THE AGE OF TWELVE YEARS
OLD. SHE WAS A MOTHER OF TEN CHILDREN BUT ONLY TWO CARED FOR HER IN THE END MY MOM AND MY AUNT. HER FUNERAL WAS A DISGRACE AS BIG AS WE ARE A FAMILY ONLY
HALF OF THEM SHOWED AND I BAGAAAN TO WRITE EVER SENSE.
