Topic: SadPoetry

I used to write all my poems
to praise the heavenly thing that is a woman
I used to write litttle letters that she never saw
and leave little cluesthat she never followed
I used to have my poems reviewed regularly
but before I I knew I was afraid I was being annoyingly clingy
I want to confess to...
oh forget it
It's nothing important, just a crush I've had since grade 8
but now it's just an iea of love that my mind ate
the shadows of my subconscious well with sadness and hate
while my self-esteem lies brutally broken like glass in a shaken crate
I'm overwhelmed by the different me's I've tried to xcreate
trying so hard to hide
what might actually be a cool guy inside
so all thes half-baked personalities just get a free ride
Sometimes I think if I was truly schizophrenic, joy would be mine
After all, I would always have company, right?
At least I can't be abandoned by myself in times of strife
As far as love goes, these grapes still aren't ripe
emotionally and sexually
I guess I unintentionally
made an analysis of myself that no doctor will ever see
released a part of me I don't even want to be seen
so to punish my brain I'll fry it with some TV
