But I can not be around you

My friends say I should move on,
that i don't deserve to have to wait.
But I can't move on now,
i'm in too deep, it's just too late.
So I face it everyday,
your face, your words, your touch.
Knowing I can't have it,
but wanting it so much.
So as I pass you in the halls,
friendly i'll say hi,
make short conversation,
then swiftly pass you by.
But see, you'll never know,
how much it hurts to be "just friends",
and how everytime i see you,
my heart breaks once again.

My body shakes and words go slurred,
each time you pass me by.
Are my feelings down to earth,

You tell me that you feel the same,

Yea, I can relate to this. Maybe this person will come around soon. If not, just remember that everything happens for a reason. :-)

Ooh how we all hate this feeling...Only suggestion I can give is to be patient, I take this advice myself. Best of luck to you and your 'friend' Your poem was touching :)
