Array ( [sid] => 82315 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Gripped in the reality of love [time] => 2005-01-31 16:01:59 [hometext] => this is a poem i wrote about love, when people get involved or become jelous, when they have a certain belief that if you are not strong enough, can destroy your relationship, this poem is about not feeling strong enough yet [bodytext] => what we have between us,
the love that we share,
everything the world could say in words,
could never even compare,
if i lost you,
nothing could ever compensate,
i would surely take my own life,
feel burning ashes of my soul fly into the wind as i deteriorate,
moments apart already feel too long,
not having you in my embrace,
makes me feel weak and empty,
i need you to keep me strong,
i live on the golden strings of the smile on your beautiful face,
feeling cold in the day,
its just a call for attention,
feeling warm in the day,
is thinking deeply for your affection,
thinking of our intimacy,
thinking of that moment,
those perfect movie style moments of ecstacy,
the whole world stops in the middle of its prime,
its just you and me,
lost sense of space,
lost sense of time,
loving you is like a breath of fresh air,
loving you is like knowing il never feel real pain again,
never have to suffer alone,
i know i couldnt survive a day of true happiness without you now,
you are like my blood,

but now they've come,
those 'friends' you left behind,
they try and build a wall between us,
pull our fingers apart from our ever clinging tips,
tears fall in destress,
despair,
fear grips me as the future becomes this day,
the pains are twisting,
the hearts are burning,
no language speaks of this anxiety,
what did they say to you?
what words past their lips?
did you believe their words,
though i know that you would choose me anyday,
but what if there is truth in them?
will they hammer the reality into this perfect world we are in?
will they burst the bubble,
bring our feet back on the ground,
remind us of our troubles,
the other side comes back round,
everything seemed so perfect,
maybe just too perfect for this world,

my pen shdders in my shaking hand,
ive never felt so empty before,
im gripped in the reality of love...
