Array ( [sid] => 82220 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Death [time] => 2005-01-30 21:40:36 [hometext] => I wrote about life. Figured I'd turn it around. [bodytext] => To those left behind, it’s pain and grief
But to those taken, it’s glorious relief
It can come like lightening, one flash and you’re gone
Or it can be slow and painful, dragging on and on
You never know when the Grim Reaper will call
There’s no way to avoid the six-foot fall
In a small box with dirt all around
Nothing to do but lie underground
People forget about you soon, they forget you’re gone
Only memories of you will always live on
Nothing you had in your life matters now
The question is are you going up or down
People will walk around, hoping for the best
That no matter what, in peace you’ll rest
You’ve got bigger problems to worry about
Like will you get in Heaven or be kicked out
Death is upon you before you know it
You had plenty of time to change, did you blow it
How was your life, was it bad or good
Would you go back and change it if you could
Well, too late, maybe now you’ll understand
That life and death go hand in hand
