Fate of Two Lovers

Contributed by bonita2689 on Sunday, 30th January 2005 @ 02:31:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Somewhere along the line of friendship
two lovers were born
and there were days of infatuation
pure obsession
and adoration
and times of heartache,
sadness
and sorrow
and moments of silence
silences shared by two
who had grown so close
his eyes caressed her
regretting what must be done
He wept with pain
as the hurt swept down his face
her heart now heavy with disbelief
she too wept
and two lovers
who had grown so close
were forced to part

Good write... Your poem really reminds me of my relations ship with my ex-girl friend. Even thought we did not know each other for a long time it was like we known each other for a long time and know we have parted.. But it was an excellent poem..
