You look in the mirror, what do you see? Maybe a person in your family you look like, maybe a ghost, but it’s you. But don’t you wish other people could see inside instead of criticizing the outside of you? Maybe there’s a reason why you’re overweight, or why you have short hair. So what if you don’t wear jeans? Clothes are clothes, it’s better than coming to school naked isn’t it? Why can’t other’s see it that way? Today’s world is filled with criticism and hatred. People say to ignore them, but they don’t realize how much it hurts after a while. Who are you really, inside? Are you a suicidal depressed sad always blue person? Are you a successful person with lots of money in the future? No one will know, but yourself. Being a teenage girl is not easy, we’re wide open to cruel treatment by both men and other girls. We tend to be taken advantage of too often, now a-days. You need to put your foot down to people making fun of your clothes or your style in general. With doing that, you’ll learn your “true colors” who you really are, inside. Deep down. Believe in yourself and you will find the real you. You can hide yourself from the world, but never from yourself, so don’t hide at all. Let the world see who you are, if they don’t like you, tough luck for them!!! Learn to accept yourself and who you are, and you will then figure out who you really are inside. So with that said- WHEN WILL YOUR REFLECTION SHOW WHO YOU ARE INSIDE????- you decide.

this poem is all to true, yes this world is to jugmental and they for some reason think that you have to do what they say to fit in while they also say "just be yourself", I truly dont understand what thery want from people. women do tend to get emotionaly abused more then men, that is because most women are more emotionaly out going. trying to ignore the critisezms of the world isnt possible sadly I have done my share of both and do know what it is like to hurt others and to be hurt by others. who you are inside isnt necesaraly better but it is better then just staying inside because if you come out of yourself you are more likely to change.

this was a good one it said what needed to be said and yes our relection should show who we are inside. post again soon.

Yeah, this poem is true. It sucks how the world is so judgemental and stuff. But you are right tough for them if they don't like your ways! Hehe.
