Why is she gone? What did she do?
How are we supposed to know?
That she thought that her life was through
Was it some thing that we did or didn’t do?
Was there any thing that we could have done?

Yes she was different but we didn’t know
That she was like this it didn’t show
And if it did she dint want us to see
That alone and dead is what she wanted. Did she?
We loved her so. Why did she do this?
Now every one is saying that it was our fault that you are gone.
I wish I told her. Is this my fault?
Why did she do this to me?
I just want to hold her.

Was there noting that could have been done
Why didn’t she ask for help?
Did she? Could she? Would she ask us?…Me?
A movie came out today; I was going to ask her to go
I don’t know if she would have like it and I never will
I don’t know what to do any more
If she could take her life with only the problems and questions that she had
Then what is to become of me and the problems and questions she left?

These are hard questions to answer after someone's no longer there. Another good reason to not hold back. Keep writing! Blessings.

Nice job, i liked this poem, it says alot. No one will know why she did it but her. That is one of the mysteries of suicidal people.

Always the question. Was there anything I could have done... ?
On that one comment (Not the spelling one, that was too childish), I think that sometimes people shut themselves, or at least part of themselves, up, and the part that is hidden, is the part that needs to be healed. Maybe it's just a fear that they're going to get hurt even more. People need to know someone that they can trust enough with anything.
I liked this one, Josh. Started some thought process. Take care.

Touching. It is.

One would wonder why Afterdark feels the need to say what he did on a poem that contains only TWO spelling errors! Silly person.

Nice work, Wolf. Keep it up.

It conveys so much emotion, and it is such a strong piece... bravo! I can really relate to losing someone like that... it's the hardest thing in the world. Don't give up! There are people out there who are going through the same thing... maybe we can all get through it together.
Awesome piece!!!

Honestly, you'd think that Afterdark considers the "intelligence" of being able to spell above that of being able to write good poetry... well, I think we all have news for him/her, writing good poetry takes serious talent, more than her/she will ever have. It's so snide to pick on someone's spelling and ignore the overall quality and emotion radiating from the piece. This is an excellent poem, and I dare Afterdark to challenge that assumption/
