[title] => You Make My Spirit Soar

[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => I am lying here, kind of lonesome and blue And I think, I think about you Oh, how you stir me! You stir my very soul! Suddenly I am a wild stallion standing on a rocky knoll! I see just below me on a far hillside A beautiful creature so graceful and showing such pride Her mane is the color of the sunset; it is blowing in the wind Oh, how I could look at her! I could look at her till no end! Suddenly my spirit is driven like an eagle in the sky I spread my wings and I begin to fly My spirit soars, it soars into space For a fleeting moment, I can see you lovely face! I’m in your arms, your soft breasts against my beating heart Then all of a sudden, I realize we are hundreds of miles apart! I fold my wings and down I begin to soar Down, down to the earth I had left just moments before I am back on the hillside, oh, such haste I look again but I can’t see your lovely face I view the hillside but the creature is not there And I wonder was that beautiful creature you or just a mare? Your smile, your sweet voice, oh, how they beckon me! Was it just a dream or was it love that is yet to be? I have a life of sensuous passion to share With such desire only the reckless would dare. I ask God’s blessing on our love both day and night, Till the end of life, until we see the heavenly sight. You are far away in Kentucky with a heart full of love Quiet, I say! Do I hear the cooing of a dove?
