Causes one to lose control
Blood flow weakens
Person growing cold
Heartbeat slows
Now helping with thy woe
Close yourself in a tranquil mindset
Don't let go or you'll be bound to forget
That always will there be
A hidden place for you to see
You will not be lonely there
Where no one else exists
And you won't have a care
So wherever you are
Close your eyes
Forget about your scars
And pause from your life, your lie
Loneliness will still linger
But no longer it will be a stinger
You will go insane
In your sought for, fought for claim
But there's no one to blame
In the end, you'll be glad you came [comments] => 6 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 13 [informant] => dreamer_for_eternity [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Ok I was waiting and hoping for the disturbing part..Where is it?
Perhaps dark poetry is not your forte.

good poem didn't think it was disturbing
though. I agree sometimes it is good to close
your eyes and just forget about what is going
on at the moment. Keep up the writing I liked
how this was written.

I'd almost call it "spiritual poetry" since the last part was sort of winding down to where you'd find peace. Good write though. Blessings.

thx 4 any compliments, umm if you are saying you don't find it disturbing, i spose i was a little misleading, but i didnt say it was disturbing, just to the people that are more happy-go-lucky no drama type, the wording makes it more disturbing not the plot, trust me, i know its not that dark, i have other dark poetry that would blow this one out of the water if it were a dark poetry contest, but all in all,i love this one
