Being a Native born Arkansan,
(a place called the natural State)
can wear wear shorts one day,
be wearing coats-n-shoes,
next, hey.

From seventies to forties.
A thirty degree drop.
No wonder I'm a bare
foot country gal. Can't
remember if it's
Spring or Summer, Wow!

Here in the middle of Winter
need to mow. Green
grass-n-flowers starting
to bloom.
Even mother nature forgets
whether to rain or snow.
Rest assured, it's Winter,
ya know?

In Arkansas, U.S. A we have the saying, "If ya don't like the weather, jus stick around, It'll change." You are lucky here in the uk if the sun shines. Maybe get two weeks of sunshine in July. Dont get much of a tan here. It is either raining or cold. Ah well it feeds the flowers.

Great poem Emmy

Like someone said about the UK. We don't get a whole lot of sun. We don't really have clearly defined seasons. We've had snow in july though. lol
So yeah, I understand this. lol.

Good write,
*hugs* Phil xxx
