The gyration of cosmic winds
Ever present echoes of time
Their majesty takes me
How I wish to slip away
How I yearn to vanish

The stars may fall all around me
And the heavens may crumble to dust
But here I cannot be found
Now I am never
Now I am gone

What would it matter if I never knew my name
Forgotten things that were all but labels
Know all that I ever desired by forgetting all that I had known
I could let go of myself at last
Allow myself a choice to choose no longer

Centuries of time spent in the space between the stars
I drifted as one lost, a moments nod
Narcolepsy of a galactic breath

Heaven’s Fall- You must Blink

Could I have breathed
My breath as short as the answers that lied
Strangely enough
I was complacent in the dark
Swirling as a thought in fear
Random as the human heart

Opened eyes and felt the cold
A second passed but once replayed
Consciousness... of the untold end

Fluttering of memories fresh
Staleness in their aftertaste
I recalled a scene
After which I craved forgotten
For there is freedom in emptiness
Complacency in the void
A comfort realized now a burning mark
Sigil of false innocence

Drowned however
The numbness came to my eyes
No life filled my mind
Forced victim of my own desire
Shorthanded fate written for the stars

Heaven’s Fall- The greatest Decent

Streaks of life painting the curtains
My eyes resisting truth
However indulgent
Moreover falling
Confronting my own demise

Shocking image of a mind reopened
Brutal promises made
Like the ticking of a time bomb
There was a second to hold
Now it was time to breathe

All that was gone now arrived
Forgotten once more a whole
The pieces strayed but the keys remained
Locked within this eternal heart
The bittersweet symphony of emotions and thoughts
Still even as the grass held my form
Again

The moon glazed my face resisting to move as I did
Knowing that nature will take its course
Knowing that mine will follow it’s path
This granted me a sigh
Having remembered such absence
Abandonment
Given the clarity to see it’s worth
Harsher thoughts were set aside

Losing oneself is at times the only way to get by
Sometimes these things need to be forgotten
Names are lost to find new meaning
Promises shunned to bring merit
All things to return with time and faith
