In her daddy’s hands a young woman sees His trials and mistakes as quick as you please. In her daddy’s hands a woman sees His wisdom and knowledge in which she believes. In her daddy’s hands a daughter Is held, punished, taught and nourished And she grows and loves and hurts and cries She knows, learns, and understands Because she was once held in her daddy’s hands.
