Array ( [sid] => 81439 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE [time] => 2005-01-25 15:43:18 [hometext] => Many may not have heard of bill and ben. Did they show viewings in America on the tv way back then. There will be some things I am sure you will be able to relate to from being a child. [bodytext] => Do you remember Bill and Ben?
Little weed appeared now and then
Play school which window today
Mr Ben with adventures to play

The wooden tops watch with mother
Mummy daddy spotty dog an another
Thunderbirds Gordon Tracy and Scott
International rescue signals moon shot

String puppets hand puppets galore
Grandad asleep god he did snore
Granny in the kitchen baking pies
Gingerbread men with jelly top eyes

Slade and Donny Osbourne the best
Huge posters in the bedroom obsessed
Monkey boots doc martins the tops
Hot pants remember big shoes as props

Starsky and hunch cool red car
Roller skating still got the scar
Jumping of building sites in the sand
(That's how i managed to brake my hand)

Competitions the pipe over the canal
Repeating the words I shall I shall
Jumping streams so wide (another scar)
Sticky bobs nettles the smell of coal tar

Coal bricks sitting by the homely fire
Tree swings made of rope and a tyre
Skipping ropes granny's elastic amen
Community spirit given way back then

Love Angelxxxx
