The story of Sam and Kate moves fast. Twists around and dwells. They thought fast and unknowing, but with fun intentions at heart. The sun was shining, everyone was smiling. Sam was centered and Kate was a star. Their ignorant confidence was high. Therefore there arose curiosity, leaning toward an unfamiliar but tempting path. They walked with a jump in their step, steadily moving along, but as fast as they could bat an eyelash they fell, fast and deep. They’re thoughts were jumbled, they couldn’t stop, but they didn’t even want to if they could. They were spun and never took the time to look back at what they had. They were immersed in a new world, no one cared if Sam was no longer centered or that Kate was no longer a star. All anyone cared about was themselves yet altered and self-inflicting. They now knew they were far from the shining sun and hopeful dreams. It was never ending night and drowning moans. They were lost in the millions with no face. Fiercely too deep, not even an undeserved peek. That is the story of Sam and Kate, so fast, so twisted in an undesirable fate.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
