Array ( [sid] => 81418 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Karma of Jack [time] => 2005-01-25 13:34:22 [hometext] => I used an existing story to tell about an event in my life. -James- [bodytext] => The giant survived after jack stole his prizes,
and was really quite happy no one realizes,
little men take things from the ones they belong,
giant men know of karma's last song,

The giant hopes the best for Jack and his folly,
is sorry that there's no milk from Jack's cow Molly,
He prays every day for no more repercussions,
but it not up to him it's not up for discussion,

The giant is big and not just in size,
he asked Jack back even though he lied,
Jack was happy to use the hospitality,
opportunity to steal not knowing the calamity,

The goose was taken for its infinite worth,
It brought him no money opened up at the girth,
The giant cried understanding the tragedy,
tried not to laugh at life's little comedy,

When Jack stole the harp that sang so purely,
The giant couldn't believe it, "not Jack" surely,
He was mad at himself and his best friend Jack,
'cause he knew from experience how karma attacks,

The giant didn't fall from the sky up above,
what happened was worse for he was in love,
he sat in the castle with out bling bling,
quietly listening for the beautiful harp to sing,

The music came as the giant knew it would,
the harp played her song as best she could,
the din never quieted when she had finished,
the crowd didn't appreciate, her moral was diminished,

She looked all over for her greatest fan,
he's not there just Jack, Brian and Dan,
But she knows where he's at, she can come back home,
The giant is waiting, sitting quietly and alone.

Part 2

Jack couldn't keep the beautiful harp to himself,
She wouldn't have it, wouldn't just sit on the shelf,
She played her music for anyone that could hear,
Even with back ground noise and them drinking beer,

Jack tried to chase her, gave fake flowers on a chair,
But Jack had other interests he didn't really care,
He knew he stole her, he broke the friendship creed,
He knew that he had caused the giant's soul to bleed,

Jack went to the giant with his heart on his sleeve,
He gave up his interest but the giant couldn't believe,
Then the harp came to visit they talked about old times,
The giant knew he loved her but she was still blind,

He let her know that she still had a place in his heart,
Expressed that he loved her, that she could stay or depart,
All he wanted was her happiness and know how she felt,
He said this teary eyed on the ground where he knelt,

She kissed him and hugged him told him it would be okay,
She never told him her feelings, but she stayed for two days,
The harp is still singing for a few other cretins,
The giant knows this and is sure he is beaten,

She continues to visit, brandishes hugs, kisses and gives hope,
The giant welcomes her back anytime, he knows he's a dope,
Will she ever understand how wonderful life can be?
Is she just using him and teasing him, we will have to Wait and see
