I wonder if some other day,
A time will come when
She shall want to stay.

For in the scheme of many things,
She is the answer to my dreams.
And with the fiddle of my heart,
She plays it with such style and art.

I’d follow her wherever she went,
And not back down till my life was spent.
I’m glad the day our paths did mix.
Since then she’s been my greatest fix.

Often at her I do stare.
She knows how much I love and care.
And when my eyes have had their fill,
They’ll come back for more and she knows they will.

It doesn’t bother her to see,
Me looking at her longingly.
She always seems to know my mind,
And promises someday to be mine!

I like this. So true to hear it from a male writer's view. How your feelings reveal so much about you. Nice write.
