When up comes this man out of no where.
Slowly he approaches me...
Like he had something to say.

He asked if he may take a seat?
Right beside me just for a while.
To rest his weary feet...
Wearing this half smile.

The first thing he did wrong...
Lighting up his cigar, smoke all over the place.
I slowly rared back in my chair,
To keep the smoke out of my face.

Now mind you I've never met this man before.
Yet he started in with his lame rap.
Of how he was looking for that special someone,
I wasn't even trying to bridge the gap.

Wondering to myself,
Why do I draw all the flies?
Men coming up to me with pockets bulging,
Filled with nothing but lies.

I tried to keep my composure,
Telling me things I really didn't want to hear.
Couldn't he tell from the look on my face...
He was boring me to tears?

He continued talking, tell me all the places he's been,
All the people he's met, mostly his lady friends.
Some he's made real happy...
Others he left them sad.
Telling them that he's always been a traveling man.

My words to him exactly...Start traveling...
Just get up and walk away from here.
You really could use some tidying up,
Plus you're boring me to tears!

After he saw he was getting no where fast,
He said...I must be on my way...
You can bet your life, I wasn't begging him to stay.
He put out his cheap smelling cigar...
And bid me good day.
Music to my ears, precisely the words I wanted him to say.

Ladies heed my warnings,
There may come a day...
When Mr. Untidy Casanova may sashay your way.
Just put him in his place,
He's harmless so no need to fear.
Cause if you let him hang around too long...
He'll be boring you to tears.

May the wind be always at his back!
