Aching thoughts of peacefulness
Just waiting for my chance
Craving end to loneliness
Just one lifelong romance.

One to share my dreams with
Just once to know it’s right
No more wasted time on want
Someone to need tonight.

I only need a happy home
Somewhere to rest my head
With love and trust, and everything
A man needs to be fed.

Nothing fancy, nothing rich
Just love to get me through
Someone to hold when I get home
True love can make it true.

Just comfort in a smiling face
And warm arms to cling to
Someone to watch me as I grow
And be there when it’s through.

A hand to guide me when I’m down
A shoulder there for tears
A lifetime filled with honesty
An angel calming fears.

I need a love, so hard to find
There’s only one for me
I hope and pray she finds me too
I’ll wait here endlessly.

She may be here, I do not know
It could be plain to see
I may already know her heart
Just need her love for me.

I hope to feel it, I’ll be here
And wait for it to show
And one day, she may say those words
The ones that I will know.

I love you, or I miss you
Then she could be Ms. Right
Everything I need in life
And all I dream tonight. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Joker17 [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
