Few are fooled by the rhetoric
Freedom, Democracy and so on
We see what they DO
Freedom & democracy, gone

In place of the sanctimonious words
Bloody corpses killed by them
Instead of lofty ideals
A leadership we condemn

Fine words are there to cover
The lies that truly infest
A pea-brained president and his followers
Who gleefully ingest

All the BS they get sent
Longing always for more
Believing a fantasy that brings death
Like many times before

Always the covert killer
America stands
Spouting saintly innocence
With their bloody hands

Deny the true motives for their crimes
Pretend they are so saintly
With rhetoric so sickly sweet
It smells, and more than faintly

See the ugly war-mongering Bush
Attempting to appear dynamic
You can almost see the puppet-strings
His style so flat, mechanic

His speechwriters went through twenty drafts
To get something vaguely right
Knowing the limitation of their parrot
Who’s style is such a fright

Freedom, Democracy, empty words
The US brings death we all can see
With fantasist pundits who push them on
On war they all agree

What a pathetic sight the pea-brain is
With his tiny monkey eyes
As we hear him spout in lacklustre voice

ALL THE USUAL LIES

this struck me as humourous for some
reason. Sadly though a lot have been fooled
by his rhetoric since he's in for another four
years.
