It flows so perfect from my heart, to my hand
I sit there in thought of an angel so true
I sit there all day thinking only of you
The gentle waves start to wash up the name
But I write it again exactly the same
As the sun starts to set in the distance afar
I set there and think of my one shooting star
And into the heavens I search every night
Just for that one star to take its flight
If it takes all night I will search all above
For then I can name it the name I do love
As the moon reflects its image off of the sea
I see your sweet image dancing closer to me
And just when you reach the edge of the shore
I reach my hand out and you are there no more
And as I look down thinking Im wasting my time
I see something new in the sand next to mine
Your name looks so different it can't be true
It now says my beloved I love only you
