[bodytext] => She laughs out loud, This silent rose, She asks so little As her flower grows. She marches on this lonely road, Forever looking For what will melt the cold Her smile is timid Her heart so frail But her modesty is brilliant Plodding on this desolate trail. Her petals stiff in the frozen night, Walking, still Searching for that warm unfamiliar light. Determined to find, That warmth she seeks She does not rest, Not for days, not for weeks. Emotion drills her frosted skin She shows it not Fear dwelling on secret sin. Faith, hope, and lust, Drive her ahead She does not lead Follows, instead. Fortitude lasting forgotten years Calling for solace Through enraged and pained tears. The voyage will end Her flower will bloom The cold anguish will cease Taking love to the tomb.
