Last night you showed the real you
It came as no surprise
I know I’ve wasted good tears
You once brought from my eyes.

You played your games so wickedly
It’s what you do the best
Living for only What You Want
To hell with all the rest.

I know I made the right choice
I’ll never take you back
You’ve played your last game with my head
It’s compassion that you lack.

You only think about yourself
Let no one in your way
As long as you get What You Want
You never have to pay.

You chew them up and spit them out
So pathetic, but so completely true
All that’s left for me to give
Is how sorry I feel for you.

When you don’t get just What You Want
You use words like a knife
Tearing through so many hearts
You should just get a life.

For once, try not to be so selfish
“Cause someday it could be you
You may not get What You Want
I know it’s coming to you.

Just like now, I’m done with you
And you’re the one without
I still have all that I want
And you’re left there to pout.

It goes around, it comes around
And you will have your day
You’ll get what you deserve
For all those games you played.

You think you have some power
Like everything owes you
Soon your time is coming
And you’ll be played with too.

All is fair in love and war
Your battles won for now
The war will soon be finding you
And then you’ll lose it anyhow.

My advise is, change your ways
That is, if you still can
You’ll never have What You Want
You’ll never keep a man.

‘Cause he will see right through you
You chose a weak disguise
It’s written plain as day
You can see it in your eyes.

You are just a dirty player
Stealing hearts for fun
Play until you just get bored
Then always on the run.

You can never have What You Want
Unless you somehow see
How you play around with emotions
It will only leave you lonely.

More advise, if you want love
Your excuses are just your game
Try to give someone attention
They’ll then treat you the same.

I doubt that you could ever change
You’re so set in your ways
You can never have What You Want
You’re confined now to lonely days.

You might as well just give up
Your game is so overplayed
You can never have What You Want
That’s why you’re so afraid.

Start changing before it’s too late
Before no one will want you
Then you might get What You Want
It’s so sad but it’s true.

I guess, you see, the truth hurts
Some just had to tell you
You can never have What You Want
I now only feel sorry for you. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 175 [topic] => 6 [informant] => Joker17 [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
