Looking at all the true beauty around me.
People come.
People go.
And yet,
I am still here.
I have people that like to walk with me,
But,
They eventually leave.
I hold on to the memories as I travel,
My travel in silence.
I wish people could stop and see,
What they are truly missing.
But, this is false hope.
Most people are so wrapped in themselves,
That,
Life passes them by.
They don't care about anyone, or thing,
Except themselves.
This is why I walk in silence.
I am truly trying to take everything in.
Nature,
My friends,
My family.
I hold someone near and dear to me.
For,
She will never leave.
Find that special someone,
To make that journey in silence worth taking.
For life without a little silence,
And,
A little love,
Is not a life.
I choose to live.

A Journey In Silence

I walk along by myself.
Looking at all the true beauty around me.
People come.
People go.
And yet,
I am still here.
I have people that like to walk with me,
But,
They eventually leave.
I hold on to the memories as I travel,
My travel in silence.
I wish people could stop and see,
What they are truly missing.
But, this is false hope.
