Array ( [sid] => 80995 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Follower [time] => 2005-01-22 13:41:40 [hometext] => I wrote this when I began to be frustrated with God and free will, because to me, I think God knows everything we plan to do. Fate is real, but you should learn to live with it, and know that its ok, because how can He be wrong? [bodytext] => Should I pick the former or latter?
I have no choice in the matter.
The illusion that we see each day.
The illusion that we choose each word we say.

I laid my plans on the table,
Seeing you more than able
To take my plans,
And bless them with your love.
But my plans were rejected.
I was not redirected,
And the love I planned for me,
Was a love that I would never see.

So tell me how do I learn to live
When everything that I want to give
Was chosen long before my time
And loving moments so sublime
Are not my own,
And feelings shown
Delicately shaping my very life
Would come to fruition as binding strife?

I’m on a path I cannot see.
That someone else laid out for me.
Every step I take,
I try to make my own.
But every move I make
I think should be unknown,
Was locked in place
By Your saving grace.

I’ve lived long enough to know
That every simplicity You can show
Is there for a reason I cannot see.
If it had no reason it would not be.
I’ll live my life as best I can
But fate is an enemy that I can’t stand.
I’ll learn to live under the veil of You,
And set out to accomplish what You want me to do.

This was phenominal! I often thing about this subject and it drives me insane to the point where I just try to not think about it. Therefor I could never write a poem about this subject, which is one reason why I admire this piece. Another is because you have talent and this was written beautifully. I loved every line, the ending was exellent as well.

Keep it up!!
