"What have I done?"
Only now do you catch a
glimmer of your mistake.
Toying with me in your
infantile ways;
You seek the Pleasure Principle
of your Id.
Anger and hate are no longer emotions
that I know how to feel for you--
Just pity from the knowledge
that I was your best.
Attempting to control me, your
marionette;
Trying, in vain, to cause my
strings of steel to dance and sway.
Unbreakable me, you had your
chance...
Your biggest mistake was my
liberation. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 43 [informant] => evilcherry312 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Go you.
I hate controlling people. I really do.
I like this, it shows that you're strong.
Great write,
*hugs* Phil xxx

Seems like a big assumption that you are (necessarily) talking to someone else since this could easily be interpreted as talking to a part of oneself as well... If your intent was to direct disdain in an inexplicit way, you have succeeded well! Interesting write! Cheers!

This is awesome in a feisty and vivacious way. From reading this, I'm truly glad you're free. The way this is written makes me feel like "Yes. You've conquered something here. There's no stopping you now!"
Really great write.

Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea

I know that I have commented on this poem before, but I felt like coming back and reading it again. I still must say that I am quite fond of it!!!
I hope you are still liberated. Never trade your freedom for anything.
