Questions Answers?

Contributed by ToriVeigh on Friday, 21st January 2005 @ 07:54:19 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

When your heart is broken
And you don’t know what to do
When the pain won’t lessen
And he no longer wants you

What do you do?
How do you go on?
Will the pain ever be through?
Will you ever again be strong?

No change can I make
Its out of my hands
No promise did I break
I can’t meet his demands

I want an answer
To bring this to an end
I can’t find it in anger
It prevents the mend

In sadness too
All hope is lost
The love that flew
Left my heart in frost

From footprint to footprint
One breath to another
Whatever life’s imprint
Love possessed, you must savor

It leaves with such speed
When it’s gone you will know
Your heart will bleed
And it’s pain will show

Watch out what the heart bestirs
Fear to trust it’s sight
I don’t have all the answers
Not to be found, even in hindsight

Answers can take years to show up. Only in maturity does the best path become clear. Anger and time are important to work through the hurt and come to a place of acceptance. You have stated your feelings well. Watch your use of "it's" though. It means "it is" and that's all it means. It isn't the possessive form...that is "its."
