Some days it is love-
this feeling that binds me to you,
My intolerance of your imperfections
stems from true desperation,
Overwhelming desire abolishes
the many walls standing between us.
And I am sated by our differences.
But some days mere habit forces me
to ponder everything we are not.
My spirit is bitter; my touch cold,
Conversation, that of familiarity
and nothing more.
Your presence resembles an intrusion,
And I could just run.
All the days in between you prompt me
to remember who we are together-
That the passion outweighs the putrid,
and the yesterdays are irrelevant-
In the whole strenuous scheme of things
Neither of us can figure me out.

Hey Girl,
Very good poem, I can see your struggle within yourself and since I know what you have been through I can say that you are very strong and I really admire that. Some days everyone feels like giving up, but I have also found that when in these times we tend to take it out on the ones we love the most. I loved it and you know where to find me if you need anything.
