there is a savored savior,
who lasts only as long
as time will tell.

A beating stream
whose heart fills the empty space between
each souless tourist.
The unified spirit,
a reminder that every plastic bag,
every hand held cell phone,
every human grasped hook, is loose
and every sky structure will fall.
The ground will turn inside out
and what will be left?

This one graced savior,
a bodyless breath which outlasts
any motor mouthed squeak.
And teaches the same song, every minute.
We will all hear as the waves crash
and we will all remember that this last
strum....humm.....has always been present
inspite of all of our mindless chatter,
boxes full of remote controls,
guys night out,
drunk,
hands squashed under the pressure
of the desperate girl,
drunk,
desiring sweetness
that is foolishly saught for
in dark corners,
with shady addicts,
a false sensation.

When all of our lies fade into the ocean,
rising higher than death,
the only thing that will be left
is what is always here.
The reminder of what is true,
untouched,
quietly pulsating within our eyes.
