I'm not an insomniac
My sleeping is just out of whack
I just don't want anymore nightmares
I just don't want anymore scares

I do not have ADD
It's just hard to pay attention, you see
When my mind is filled with blood and fear
Those eyes I saw were filled with tears

I do not need an Attitude Adjustment
I just want to know where I went
Where that smile on my face has gone
So, what conclusion have you finally drawn?

I don't need medication or pills
No medicine can cure these chills
It's just that I'm always so alone
Truly though, my sanity, I do not own

I don't need a Therapist
Hearing those people talk makes me *****
They don't need to know about me
Now can you finally see?

I am not an angry psychopath
My mind is just filled with my own wrath
So I'm always sitting in the darkest corner
Not too angry, but surely a mourner

I don't push my friends away
They're all just way too weak to stay
My sadness may be hard to bear
But it's my own problem, I mean it, I swear

I don't get too out of control
It's just the whole world has taken it's tole
The world has given me to you
The world made me like this, it's true

Please don't blame yourself for this
Please, just go back to your own bliss
Let me rot away in my own sorrow
Maybe my "madness" will leave me tomorrow [comments] => 7 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Kuro_Mirai [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

when you write, write nice thoughts, and eventually you will feel better. So concentrate. and avoid negative input, TV, Movies concentrate on positive input and write positively. If you can keep a journal and watch yourself improve, this way you can write even when you are not inspired.

Self pity finds a lot of company on this site; but thats not a good thing. Don't you have much to be thankful for? Are you blind, deaf, cripple, cancerous, in prison, etc? Let the simpler things please you: the forms of clouds, the briskness of winter, the night sky, the fragility, yet beauty of a flower, and animals and birds, a country stream, etc. How could anyone want to rot in sorrow in this wonderful world that God created for our enjoyment? I just don't understand this. God bless
