Array ( [sid] => 80380 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => OH! MR. PRESIDENT [time] => 2005-01-18 05:31:22 [hometext] => Watching Nightline on 1/17/05 It showed six Army National Guards from Lousianna, United States of America, being loaded off plane in caskets. So far our president advised against it but National Guard allowed it anyway. [bodytext] =>

These six men joined the National Guard together, went to war together and came home deceased together.
I'm dedicating this to their familes, children, friends, all that knew them.

Oh Mr. President,
Let them protect their
own damn oil!
So what if you gotta
walk a mile or two.
Rather than give up
my son I'd be happy to.

Oh Mr. President,
MY my, don't cha know
life is more importent
than oil.
Oh, Mr. President,
You'll neva have my
respect again, yeah boy.

The Dixie Chicks were
snubbed for telling truth.
Now I hold um up
above evil minds.
Give them respect for
crossing that sadistic line.

Seeing six coffins come
of that plane,
Parents, children, wept
at their sad return.
My God, money hungry
fools will neva learn.

Father God,
Pull our troops out right now!
In Jesus name, amen! [comments] => 5 [counter] => 155 [topic] => 34 [informant] => emystar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

Very sad write that put goose pimples on my arms. I am very anti-war so I was never in favor of this atrocity in this first place. Did you read about Benderman the soldier from Georgia who refuses to go back? Very sad.Much peace to you.

This is so sad and true. I hope the troops come back home.

i very much agree with you mam emy. the earth is given by god. no one has any property rights over it. if adam and eve were the first beings on earth we all are their decendants. why fight among one group.

and so they should be brought home Emy. The Prez doesn't care about the true feelings of the American public. Sorry, I had to say that, because it's true. Great show of emotions here Emy. Keep on penning. *S* Cynthia
