Array ( [sid] => 80305 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => This Ephemeral Life [time] => 2005-01-17 17:23:23 [hometext] => This is just a poem questioning life in general. [bodytext] => Caught up in the current of people
Even when looking upon them atop a steeple
This short life keeps us from actually ‘keeping it real’
You’ll never ‘live you’re life to the fullest’
Is questioning always the answer?
Never look into the ocean you made by hand
And what is life really for?
Why do we live?
And why do we care?

These question
So many questions
Is there a real answer?
God, can you help me here?
I’m trying to calculate this meaning

Shot down by the crude words of man
Sooner or later they all turn back into sand
The ocean can only consume so much rock and turn it to sand
What is it they say to me?
Am I just as bad as thee?
Do I offend more than I defend?
Looking up to the sky we fail
Looking into the depths of our own minds we falter
And what is life really for?
Why do we live?
And why do we care?

These question
So many questions
Is there a real answer?
God, can you help me here?
I’m trying to calculate this meaning
Never living up to what I truly want
No one truly understands me
Never will you see me alone in my asylum
God, I ask, can you help me get through this life? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 169 [topic] => 61 [informant] => Bones [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

these are all lagitamit questions, but none of them have an easy answer, all you have to do is look at the life He has given you and that will tell you the answers you seek. keep faith and be strong.

I like this one you hook the readers by asking a question and asking them to answer it for you very good i did enjoy reading this one. post again soon.

Awesome write. My favorite part was "Do I offend more than I defend?". I often ask myself these questions, and though i try my darnedest to find the answers-i guess some are ment to stay unanswered.
