because you're not good enough
and I never choose you

and you don't want me
and I hate you.

And I hate you,
because you yell and scream
and kick the floor
just like you're in kindergarten,

but you’re not.

You're 35 years my senior

and if you want to me to know better,
then god dammit so should you.

And I hate you.

And I hate you,
because when ever things don't go your way you leave,
and leave, and leave some more.
You can't be counted on

and if I can't count on you then tell me who should I count on
because everybody says you're the once person who I should be

always able to turn to.
And I hate you.

And I hate you,
because you're always yelling hateful words,
and doing hateful things,
and treating me in hateful ways,

and then you act all damn innocent when I don't like you anymore,
and you hold me up to standards of behavior that you yourself can't meet.

And I hate you.

And I hate you,
because you helped bring me into this world
and now your making mine miserable.

I'm ½ you remember,
everything I am is a reflection on who you made me to be.

Why won't you recognize that I am who I am?
And I hate you.

And I hate you
because I'll never be good enough for you,

and you'll never love me for being me
and I know strangers who like me more than you do.

And because you are constantly letting me down,

I hate you.

Oh how I understand this..If my grandaughter had a computer I'd think she had written it.. why do adults always hold children to standards they themselves cannot or will not meet..why are we such hypocrites..this screams at me.. it's well written and so full of anger and sadness..
