Comments aren't necessary, but definitely not discouraged... [bodytext] => I'd seen her in the hall almost every day.
I'd talked to her couple times.
I ran home as fast as I could,
Pondering the contents
Of the paper in my pocket.
She'd handed it to me at my locker,
Then walked away hurriedly.
I went into my room,
Closed the door,
And sat on the bed.
I opened the paper nervously,
And the paper simply said:
Greenish-brown female sheep.
I stared at it for an hour,
And couldn't make any sense of it.
Maybe she didn't mean it for me.
Maybe she meant
To give me something else,
And got confused in her rush.
That must've been it.
I went back to school,
And sought her out,
Looking for MY note.
She seemed slightly disappointed,
But assured me that the note
I had received was mine.
She told me to think about the words.
So I did.
Greenish-brown female sheep.
Greenish-brown female sheep?
I thought and thought about the words,
And still I had no clue.
One night, while lying on my bed,
It hit me clean out of the blue.
And so, now I'll say this to you.
Mary,
Olive ewe, too. [comments] => 8 [counter] => 2550 [topic] => 2 [informant] => sir_odd87 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 11 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

It took you THAT long to figure it out? I'm sorry.....actually, I stole it from a movie about a murderer, but you know, the message is still the same.....
