Feel the touch of gentle breeze
Summer flowers are no longer there
The garden looking rather bare

Winter is here for such a long time
I am longing for the sun to shine
The days are short, the nights are long
I long to hear the birds in song

Look out the window what do i see
A tiny flower peeping back at me
Bulbs are peeping through the ground
A field mouse,by the pond was running around

In an instant my heart is feeling brighter
Yes, those long dark nights are getting brighter
It wont be long before its spring
The trees will be full of birds that sing

The suns now peeking through those lazy clouds
They stay there all day just hanging around
Soon be time to tidy and prune
Give new life to the shrubs allow them to bloom
Creatures that sleep will now awake
Birds in a hurry with new nests to make

Autumn winter summer and spring
Have special things that they all bring
Autumn with colours of falling leaves
Winter with snow and ponds that freeze
Spring brings baby lambs and plants that grow
Summer brings life to all that we know
