To Me

Lifepoems

Within a maze, fumbling through this room,
Too many sounds, I can’t find you.
I took a spill, guess you took a few
Brings us here to what we’re going through.
And I would swallow you to keep you safe
Choke back the bitter, pissy taste
Of all your sins I can’t erase
Another tainted soul in my embrace
It always feels like your woes outweigh my own
And if I needed you to
Could you just run home
To me?
