And I don't know why.
I just live life...
The best way I know how to try.
I love...
Those who need love.
Those who love me so.
I didn't choose them.
I'm the one they chose.

Sometimes... though... it seems...
They're too blind to see...
What's right in front of them to love...
To hold tightly in their arms.
And too... it seems...
They're too deaf to hear...
The cries of a lonely heart living in fear.
When it's breaking apart.
While it dies...
Withering at an arms length
From their empty hands... their empty hearts... their empty minds.

I live... I love...
And I move on...
With a lonely heart.
While it breaks in two.
Each time...
Someone walks away...
And leaves this heart behind.
Buried in the cold... damp... dark of life's desolate landscape of time.
Where the harsh winds gust and blow.
This is all... I've come to know.

I live.. I love...
I wish I may...
I wish I might upon this day...
Have this wish...
I wish today.
I wish... that they could just open their blind eyes
And see how their actions are crushing me.
And to hear my cries... of anguish... of pain...
And see the "missing you" tears...
I try not to cry... but hide away.
Although... it seems... I've been doing this for years.

I live... I love...
But yet... it's not enough...
For those around me.
For those I love.
For those whom I worry about so much...
They mean the world...
And so much more to me.

I live... I love...
But it seems...
My existence is all I have left of me.
A lonely one...
As best as it can be.
I was born...
And I live...
And I love...
And one day... I'll simply fade away...
And die.
I'll fly away... fly away... fly away to my home on high.
Will anyone remember me from this life?

I live... I love...
