Just as she pressed down, the phone rang and her hand slipped across her skin. The phone kept ringing as she was lying on the floor with a fountain of crimson redness coming from her veins. Finally the answering machine came on, it was him saying he still loved her and was dying without her. What he didn’t realize is that at that same exact moment she was dying of a slash across her wrist that was supposed to be a small cut, just to ease the pain of being without him. She sat alone in the darkness of her room. Each car that passed, the light of it’s headlights shone through her window upon two sharp razors laid out in front of her, each glistening with a tempting glow. She wondered to herself why he broke her heart and shattered her every dream. She picked up the sharpest razor of the two and held it to her wrist.
