You think that you know me,

As I come down to this place
Set aside for me.

With your wings covering your body
Staring at me with your eyes ripe and stoned,
I am not who you think I am,
I do not breathe when I should.
So fragile.
So alone
I’m self destructive without you.

So you with your wings,
I am already down
Far to down
For you to try to shatter the rest of who I am,
And change this skin that has already been infected
With such a maddened disease
That’s crippling my hands.
I refuse to move,
For my legs will fall to pieces.
So go ahead and watch my self destructive path emerge, as it always does.

With your wings held high,
My words were heard,
You fluttered off into the sky,

Your wings can not befall me.
Your heart will not rip me apart.
You think that you know me,
Could destroy me in a second
As I come down to this place
Set aside for me.

With your wings covering your body
